MERCHANDISE

Mens Mental Helath Week 2026

For Men’s Mental Health Week 2026, I developed a series of campaign-led merchandise pieces, including an engraved and printed pint glass alongside a football t-shirt graphic. The work was designed to encourage open, informal conversations around men’s mental health within everyday social environments.

The visual direction was informed by primary research, where participants were asked to draw how they perceive and experience their emotions. These raw, expressive drawings formed the basis of the design system, resulting in a set of organic, abstract marks that communicate emotion in an immediate and unfiltered way.

These elements were translated across both print and product, combining hand-drawn graphics with direct messaging to create a bold and accessible visual language. The final outcome is a cohesive set of assets that aim to challenge stigma and increase visibility, using familiar social contexts- such as sport and pubs—to make conversations around mental health more approachable.

The Bristol Cable

Designing a piece of merchandise for The Bristol Cable, centred around a T-shirt that reflects the spirit and strength of Bristol’s community. The concept draws inspiration from the idea of connection, both literal and symbolic, highlighting how people across the city are linked through shared stories, voices, and the network that The Bristol Cable represents.

The design explores visual metaphors of “the cable” as a unifying thread, weaving through the city and bringing communities together. Influenced by Bristol’s distinct culture, diversity, and grassroots energy, the outcome aims to feel authentic, inclusive, and proudly local.

More than just merchandise, the T-shirt acts as a wearable statement, celebrating connection, community, and the power of independent journalism in keeping people informed and united.

THE BLINDSPOT

Developing merchandise for The Blindspot’s 2026 tour, I created a cohesive range spanning a t-shirt, sticker set, and promotional poster. The work focused on building a distinctive and scalable visual identity that could translate effectively across both physical products and promotional materials.

The creative direction combines a custom logotype with bold, high-contrast visuals to establish a strong and recognisable brand presence. Distorted typography and graphic motifs, such as the eye imagery, were used to reflect the band’s aesthetic and reinforce the concept of a “blindspot,” creating a consistent visual language across all outputs.

The final collection delivers a unified and commercially viable merchandise system, designed to stand out in a live music context while maintaining clarity and consistency across formats.
